Indexing chucks have been developed by FORKARDT especially for workpieces with several machining axes. In the case of conventional machining, each side of the workpiece needs to be reclamped. This involves a considerable amount of non-productive / conversion time.
For example, for universal joints and fitting parts with a 3 x 120 degree or 4 x 90 degree angle of swing.
